It's been quite a while and no news added to the blog. The nursery has been very busy over the last few months, we have had another trip to Cantref Farm where both parents and children all enjoyed a lovely and fun day out.
For Harvest we collected fruit and made a lovely hamper which was given to Ty Mawr Nursing home, we would like to say a big Thank You to all who donated fruit.
We decided to support Blytheswood Care appeal we collected 27 boxes in total, we asked the crochet club ' knitters and clickers' if they would like to donate any crochet or knitted squares for blankets, we were very grateful of their support in giving us 7 blankets in total. The gentleman who collected them was very grateful of our donation.
In September we were very sorry to see Kate leave the Nursery, Kate finished to start employment in another job. We would all like to wish Kate the best in her new job.

Red Nose Day
The Nursery decided to do something funny everyday for Red Nose Day this year. On Monday we wore something stripes, Tuesday was odd socks, Wednesday was wear clothes back to front day, Thursday we all wore something red and on Friday we had a fancy dress pirate party. All parents gave a £1 donations or more if they wished, for their children to take part. We had a cake sale everyday, we did the Jessie J sweep, sold red noses and Seven Sisters Football Team had a fancy dress football match. A grand total of £204.00 was raised. All staff in the nursery would like to Thank everyone who supported us in raising the money for Comic Relief.
